Compliments and Complaints

If you would like to submit a complaint about a Louisiana Massage Therapist or Establishment, please click here.

In order to review a complaint all information on the form is required. This includes the Therapist Name/Establishment and your contact information.

The Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy takes its role of public protection seriously; but, can only act within its authority as a regulatory board.

The Board cannot enforce any local ordinances and therefore relies on local law enforcement for assistance. In addition, the Board cannot act regarding satisfaction of services received, employment disputes, payment disputes, etc.

If you feel an establishment or a therapist is violating the LMT Practice Act you may file a complaint on the website or submitting your complaint in writing at admin@labmt.org. If you wish to seek criminal prosecution we encourage you to do so by contacting law enforcement. For complaints outside of the Boards jurisdiction, please contact local authorities, the Better Business Bureau, law enforcement or an attorney for assistance
